As always, I looked on the CD cover, saw a blue-brown art design that reminded me of land and sky, beautiful nature that is around us. The title is ‘Jaz-Mobi Project’ and on CD a stunning, professional blues.

Steve Thomas is not just a musician with talent, but also artist with great skills that gives his music artistic, stunning splash. In Steve’s compositions you will hear instruments as guitar, bass, keyboard, drums, sax and e-wi etc; talking to themselves, whispering simple questions of life and even if you don’t know the answers they will make sure to show it to you through building small pieces of images into one. Steve’s music is definitely wealthy in all ways of music and art, combining vivid images and abstract forms to build a visualization of a larger picture that will stick with you. "Breeze on a Bay" starts with a beat of drums… It gives a music western/Mexican breeze. And slowly you hear more instruments from the guitar, string bass, sax and keys. The mix of all the sounds of every instrument and change of rhythm and speed of a compositions, gives the music a thrilling feeling, feeling that goes through your body and you are climbing and trying to see what is on the top. You will be pushed away; you get up and keep going. You will find a surprise after surprise and twist around. But ‘Breeze on a bay’ will have a big impact on you.
Each instrument has their own solo and with building layers of swirling mosaics, they build a picture of canyon, hills and valleys that you travel through…
Way-farther’ starts slowly with licks of guitar and sounds of rain falling, mixing with wind. Tune starts slowly and slowly becomes more and faster in rhythm, but some how stays in a relaxing moment which shows you life farther away from you. Which will become closer.
